Construction work being carried out on the southwest view of the Big Bethel Pumping and Filter Plant. This plant serves as a crucial supplier for Langley Field, Fort Monroe, U.S. Soldiers Home, General Hospital #43, and various other Government Buildings. The photograph was taken by Sgt. Bonner on October 18, 1919. The description was given by Hill Gazette with notes from ge 64845.

A large tractor is shown pulling two cars out of deep mud in Dijon, Cote d'Or, France. The excessive rainfall has caused the ground in the parking space to become very soft, causing the trucks to become almost buried. Tractors are being used to move them as they are the only effective option. The photograph was taken on 1-27-19 by photographer T.P.H. Sears.
