The silver trowel with which the first stone of the new Amsterdam town hall was laid on October 28, 1648; Silver trowel, with which the young Lord Cornelis de Graeff Den Eersten Steen has laid the 28 October 1648 / down of the silver trowel / one of the four Golden Tokens, the 28 October 1648 in memory of the four sons and cousins of the then ruling mayors of the City of Amsterdam. Modern image of the silver trowel with which Cornelis de Graeff has placed the first stone on October 28, 1648 for the new city hall of Amsterdam. The show shows both the front of the trowel. On the back of the leaf an image of the downside of the trowel and of the four golden tokens that were manufactured on this occasion. The trowel is attributed to Johannes Lutma and is located in the collection of the Royal Archaeological Society (BK-Kog-1494).
