This 1896 image shows the Ex-Crown Prince Wilhelm of Germany. He was the eldest son of the last German Kaiser (Wilhelm II). He was the last crown prince of the German Empire and the Kingdom of Prussia. He lost the title of Crown Prince with the fall of the empire on November 5, 1918. Upon the death of his father he became the Crown Prince of Hollenzollern and retained the title until he died in 1951.
