At the lawyer, David van der Kellen (1827-1895), 1837 - 1882 print In a departure there is a richly dressed lawyer in front of the fireplace near a desk, for which a gesturing man stands with a hat. With the man is a boy who looks in the direction of the viewer and has a ham and sausage with him. The man may ask the lawyer, who makes it clear to the man with a hand gesture that council costs money. In the background there is a bookcase with two busts on it and behind a fence the silhouette of a figure at a desk is visible.
