Reportage on a specialised institution for young hearing-impaired people (Switzerland). For one day a month, the institution offers manual activities taught in sign language. Most of the young people are in normal schools and this day allows them to continue learning sign language.

Daily science team meetings are an integral part of NAAMES field work. Chris Hostetler (pointing) is the project scientist. --- The b a href= http //naames.larc.nasa.gov/ rel= nofollow North Atlantic Aerosols and Marine Ecosystems Study /a /b (NAAMES) is a five year investigation to resolve key processes controlling ocean system function, their influences on atmospheric aerosols and clouds and their implications for climate. Michael Starobin joined the NAAMES field campaign on behalf of Earth Expeditions and NASA Goddard Space Flight Centers Office of Communications. He presented stories about the important, multi-disciplinary research being conducted by the NAAMES team, with an eye towards future missions on the NASA drawing board. This is a NAAMES photo essay put together by Starobin, a collection of 49 photographs and captions.

A Fort McCoy Directorate of Human Resources leader who helped organize the training said the training is good for the Fort McCoy workforce because it specifically shows the workforce that regardless of age, rank, or status, its always good to be a lifelong learner. And that leader said its also important for government employees to remember they serve. They serve the employee first, taxpayers, service members, family members, and the country. And the leader said that being a servant leader is about who you are, not what you do.
