The Panagia Portaitissa, Russian icon

Greek Icon of Mary with Christ from the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. This church is in Jerusalem and is identified as the place both of the crucifixion and the tomb of Jesus of Nazareth. Originally built by the mother of Emperor Constantine in 330 A.D.; the original Byzantine Church was destroyed by the Persians in A.D. 614.
