Squalus Comes Up And Sinks Again -- The bow of the ill-fated submarine Squalus rearing out of the waters off the isles of Shoals for one brief moment, July 13th, before sinking to the bottom again with her cargo of 26 dead and bringing to naught the seven weeks of dangerous work of salvage. Left Grazing near a disused quarry in Hawthorn at the week-end, Peter, a horse owned by Mr G. Young apparently thought there was better feed elsewhere, so he fell 75ft. into the pit.
