An enriched variation of 1901-39-2784. The main difference consists in the entablature above the compartments being in the same height, and a conch above the central one. The lateral frames of the central compartment are pillars with separate pillar strips. Those like the outer pillars have heads in place of capitals but no pnale frames in the pedestals. In front of the pipes are in central compartment a trophy of musical instruments with scrolls and festoons, in the lateral ones a variation of the corresponding motif in 1901-39-2784, without festoons. Pen and brown ink, brush and brown wash, graphite on lined off-white laid paper. Date: 1780-1783. Museum: Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum.
