The Coast Guard completed a counter-illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing operation for the first time under the South Pacific Regional Fisheries Management Organization (SPRFMO). The Coast Guards actions ensured law enforcement presence among a substantial fleet of more than 400 fishing and transshipment vessels.
