The high degree of teamwork and cooperation among the various United Nations units in Korea was demonstrated recently when the entire crew of Thailand's escort vessel Prasae was rescued by U.S. Navy force after the ship went aground and caught fire during a snowstorm off the Korean east coast. Rescue ships were unable to approach the burning vessel. The Thai crew members then jumped into the joy water in an effort to reach the nearby beach, which was under constant enemy fire.
