Stock Photo: Lying at 500 metres above sea level, the Bayuda desert is one of the most easterly extensions of the Sahara. It has a mainly gravel surface with sparse vegetation. The four gazelles running in the middle distance are Dorcas gazelles, the smallest gazelles with proportionally the longest limbed.
