A Southern oryx, or Gemsbok, crosses a grassy plain beneath a towering red dune. In early morning and late afternoon, the dunes at Sesriem in the Namib Naukluft Park, are breathtakingly beautiful. Patterned by, and shifting with, the wind, these dunes vary from brick red to apricot and forever change colour with the angle of the sun.
