You can search for an image from three locations. The first is on the homepage and is located in the centre of your screen. The second way to search for an image is to open up the main menu (the icon with three horizontal bars, top right) and click on Search in the menu list. This will open up the search bar on the left side of the screen. The third method of searching is directly from the galleries or search results via the search bar that appears in the top left side of the screen.
When you search for an image you will be presented with a page of results. You can filter these results by clicking on the filter icon which is to the right of the search box and search icon. This will present a list of filters such as Orientation and Asset Type which you can use to filter your search results.
You can save a selection of images or videos by using Lightboxes. Simply search or browse any gallery and move your mouse cursor over the thumbnails. Click on the Plus icon [+] to add the image to a lightbox. If you have already created lightboxes, you can use the down arrow next to the plus icon to select an existing lightbox. You can also add the image to a lightbox in the Preview window by clicking on the same Plus icon to the right side of the image. See How to Use Lightboxes in Frequently Asked Questions.
A lightbox is a collection of images that you can put together as your own private collection for easy viewing and future use. A lightbox can be saved, shared and bought. You can create multiple lightboxes.
To start using lightboxes you can either create one by clicking the Plus icon on an images thumbnail or preview, or you can create one from the Lightbox menu. The Lightbox menu can be accessed by opening the main menu, and clicking on Lightbox. The Lightbox area will then appear on the left. To create a new lightbox in this area enter a name in the box under "Create new lightbox", then click on the button “Create Lightbox”.
Lightboxes are listed in the lightbox area under "Current lightbox" and "Saved lightboxes". Each lightbox has its own menu icon (three horizontal lines) on the right. There are three main functions that can be accessed from this menu:
Sharing a lightbox allows you to send a copy of the lightbox you have created to another user. You can assign various permissions depending on what you want the other user to be able to do. There are options that can be toggled on and off if the “Interactive” share is selected which allow the person you’re sharing with to add notes to the lightbox (Can annotate), delete images from the lightbox (Can delete), add images to the lightbox (Can add) and clone the lightbox (Can clone).
There is the “Copy” share option which will send a version of the lightbox over to the other user that they can edit without it affecting the lightbox that you own.
There is also a “View only” share option that will send the other user a version of your lightbox which they will not be able to change at all.
Select "Download Lightbox" to download a ZIP file of the assets in your lightbox. Depending on your account permissions, you may be able to choose the size of assets you want to download.
Selecting “Buy Lightbox” will create a new cart with only the assets in the lightbox you selected in it.
Items placed in a cart are automatically saved whenever a change is made to the cart so you can return to where you were straight away if you need to logout.
To buy or license a single image, locate the image you are looking to purchase, click the thumbnail to open the preview and in the bottom right side of the preview popup you will see the quick license options. Here you can quickly select the license you want to apply for the image. Then click the cart icon to add the image to your default cart, or you can click "Buy it now" to go straight to the checkout for that image.
To buy or license multiple images, locate the assets you are looking to purchase, hover your cursor over an image thumbnail and click on the Cart icon there. Alternatively if the image details are displayed you can click on the Cart icon there. This will quickly add the image to a cart. You can also use the Cart icon displayed with an image preview.
Once you have added the images you want to purchase to the cart, open up the main menu and click on Cart in the list, which will display the Cart options on the left side of the screen. Click on the cart you have added images to, named “My Cart” by default if you didn’t have a cart already selected, and you will be presented with a page to license and purchase the images you selected. You will need to fill out the Licensee Address, Billing Address, License Details and Delivery Details before you can check out and purchase the images.
