Wife Kisses Zatopek After Marathon Win -- Congratulatory kiss from his wife for Czech Army Major Emil Zatopek after he had won the marathon Olympic Games event to-day. Zatopek Wins 5,000 Metres - And Sets Up New Games Record -- E. Zatopek, of Czechoslovakia, winning the 5,000 metres event at the European Games here. With a new Games championship time of 14 minutes, 3seconds, he was about a hundred yards ahead of A. Mimoun (France), who came second.
