A Young Royal Family At Home -- This group, by our Cameraman Stanley Devon, was taken on the lawn in the gardens of Clarence House, the Royal Couple's London Residence. One of the busiest and hardest-working young couple in the World are Princess Elizabeth and the Duke of Edinburgh. After his return on July 21st from naval duties in the Mediterranean, the duke was immediately plunged into a round of official functions in Britain. Then on September 25 the Royal Couple will leave on a visit to Canada where they will spend several weeks as guest of the governor-general, viscount Alexander. As a conclusion to their travels on the American continent, they are to spend October 24th and 25th at the white house as guests of President Truman. August 09, 1951. (Photo by Paul Popper).
