Wulingyuan Scenic Reserve (Chinese: ; pinyin: Wulíng Yuán) is a scenic and historic interest area in Hunan Province. It is noted for its approximately 3,100 tall quartzite sandstone pillars, some of which are over 800 metres (2,600 ft) in height and are a type of karst formation. In 1992 it was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
