The Windjammers Arrive In The Channel On Annual Grain Race From Australia -- An aerial view of the viking, which sailed from Port Victoria on February 16, sailing up channel today, June 16 and presenting a fine sight when snapped from the air off the lizard.The Windjammers which race back to this country annually with grain from Australia are now beginning to arrive in the recalling the great days of sail as, with all their sails spread they pass up channel on their way to Falmouth and other ports. Most of these magnificent-looking vessels left Australian ports early in the new year and they have all been nearly four months on the long voyage which has taken them halfway round the world.
