The White Patrol: British "Recce" Party In Germany -- Eyes everywhere as the patrol does its hazardous job. This is the type of picture we have been accustomed to associate with the Russian Front. It was, however, taken by an Army photographer accompanying a British patrol on a reconnaissance patrol in Germany. British troops on this front and in the Ardennes have been issued with white camouflage cloaks; guns, rifles, radios, etc., all are wrapped in white, with the good effect seen in this and accompanying photographs.
