The wedding couple stands on the steps of a classical building. They are crowned with a laurel wreath by Hymenaeus who shines above them a beam of rays through a ring as a symbol of union. In front of the couple are putti with wind instruments and burning torches, symbols of love. The woman on the left, probably the personification of fidelity, offers the couple two keys. The woman on the right holds a horn of plenty. In the front left are two stream gods. The scene is framed in an ornamental frame that includes torches and burning hearts. Above the representation, Minerva holds a drapery with the names of Abraham Buyssant and Catharina des Amorie. Above left Mercury and to right a putto with the family coat of arms.
