Villagers Protest At Gun Practice - Villagers protest at the edge of the firing zone. Sign reads "Danger, firing zone, keep out".Nineteen men, four Japanese villagers and 15 police, were injured in a clash between 60 demonstrators and 350 police May 13 at the United States security force artillery practise range at the foot of mount Fuji. The police, themselves Japanese, were clearing the villagers from the range, where they have rushed to stop the firing. The 120 inhabitants of the three surround villages object to the firing.
