The doorcase is laterally framed by pedestals, whose upper shorter parts are divided by mouldings from the lower ones. The front of the upper is decorated with a festoon. Upon them are sitting female allegories, and they support the pediment of a sarcophagus above the door. The round shaft of the upper pedestal rises without a base; it bears the inscription. On top is a variation of 1938-88-1309 with the right putto sitting upon the base. Date: 1793. Pen and brown ink, brush and brown wash on lined off-white laid paper.
