Upper row: at left, behind the vaulted roof of a tent is a part of a frieze. Two parts are the supports. Center: a tent, supported by two posts with capitals, with a low roof. At right, three rectangular openings, separated by columns. On top is a frieze with the roof of a tent in front; on a smaller scale the beginning of a sketch. Lower row, at left: three rectangular openings, the supports being posts with capitals. Center: a variation of the motif of the front of the alcove as in -1643. On verso: one below the other, are two sketches for bases of columns. Date: 1790-1809. Pen and brown ink, brush and brown wash on off-white lined paper, lined.
