Two girls doing carpentary work at the eco-village of Loural in the mountains of central Portugal. Here, the Klein family and their partners have been working on an ambitious project to rehabilitate a small village that has been abandoned since the year 2000 into an eco-location. On 30 hectares, the aim is to improve the ecosystem by practicing organic agriculture, reforestation and the production of green energy. The small stone village is moving towards food and energy autonomy and its vegetation is gradually coming back to life.
