The repeating and symmetrical pattern exists along the top and bottom of the strip of a row of half circles, with a row thick four-pointed starflowers in between on the center line of the strip. The motifs are made in linen stroke with openwork edges. The motifs are connected by thick short braids that seem to form the beginning of a grille. In the center of the flowers, a simple (ornamental) base is applied. Upper and bottom of the strip are straight finished.
