Trinidad sprinter Michael Agostini will be invited to compete in Australia Early next year. Agostini won the Empire Games 100 yards at Vancouver last month. Local athletic officials decided to ask Agostini to come here when they learned the NZAAA had asked he and John Landy to tour NZ next year. Agostini and Landy probably will accept the NZ invitation. "Agostini should be an attraction at both the NSW and Australian title carnivals," said NSWAAA secretary George Soper today. July 27, 1954.
