Lt.-Col. I. Lyon observes Japanese ships sinking in Singapore Harbor in 1943. Lyon was one of 14 Australians and British Soldiers who carried out a series of daring raids on the Harbor. First news of raids was published in "The Sunday Sun," August 19, 1945.After an operation a raider is back in his hide-out. Note the folboat (rubber canoe) in foreground.
