Training A.T.S. Motor Cyclists - Negotiating water is an art in itself and these A.T.S. girls receive careful tuition in this. Members of the Transport Section of the A.T.S. at a west Country Depot may now take a course of motor cycle riding. Many are very keen but before they are passed out as proficient they have to negotiate all kinds of rough and greasy surfaces. This rough riding gives them skill and confidence in handling their machines and so adds to their safety on the roads. Some of those who pass the tests will deliver motor cycles from works to depots.
