Trailer Town Washday..... Mrs. James Carpenter, one of the trailer dwellers, is at work in one of the laundries of the Ideal Trailer Park. Most of the trailer town residents do their own washing. Set tubs and washing machines are on hand, plus plenty of hot and cold water. There are 80 trailers in this park. If you have a washing-machine you're allowed three hours to do the family wash for six people, including sheets. A woman with no machine is allowed about an hour longer. January 30, 1944. (P
