Traditional homes of the Sami peoples (also spelled Saami and also known as Lapps, although this term is considered derogatory), an arctic indigenous people inhabiting Sapmi, which today encompasses parts of far northern Sweden, Norway, Finland and the Kola Peninsula of Russia.
