Timelapse footage following the germination and growth of mung beans (Vigna radiata), with the beans on the right having been fed with liquid seaweed fertiliser. The beans on the left are unfertilised but otherwise treated the same. The beans were filmed in a rhizobox over 13 days, after which time the roots of the fertilised bean plants are seen to be better developed and more branched than those of the control beans.
