The four tile tables on the western facade, along the Jan Luykenstraat, are dedicated to the history and fame of Amsterdam; whereby the city delayed on a triumph truck holds a solemn procession, preceded by famous people, who from the 13th up to and including the 18th century practiced and promoting Dutch art, or have contributed to the fame of the city. The design drawings were manufactured by Georg Sturm and the tiles were baked by the Villeroy & Boch company in Merzig A.D. Saar.The tile tables were all designed by G.Sturm, professor at the Rijkschool for arts and crafts, helped by students. This is the second tableau from the left, representing the regal visitors of Amsterdam.
