Those Buried Treasure Is This - London demolition workers were pulling down part of a building in Whitehall Place. One of them, Tim Aherne, wanted to test his pneumatic drill so he tried it on the concrete roof of a strong room - and disclosed thousands of pounds' worth of silver ware (Knives, forks, plates, etc) and many other things which had been buried there since the building was bombed in 1940.
