Horizontal pattern of white central row of small squares arranged on diagonal, either containing a stylized bird in a contrasting color, or divided into two stepped triangles of contrasting colors. Plain bands of buff, yellow and brown separate center from flanking outer rows of angular fretted running-wave pattern. Continuous guard-bands of red, yellow and buff on both edges. Wefts: unspun or weakly Z-spun, very closely packed. Warp: 2-ply tightly S-twisted undyed wool, about 25 per inch. The long sides are loom-endings.
