The design is made up of alternating rows of ellipses ontaining stylized S-shapes separated by horizontal undulating garlands of branches of light tan color with offsetting thorns rendered with stipples of dark reddish-brown color decorated with pearls and rosettes with five petals over a light tan ground with stipples of dark reddish brown color. The S-shapes are colored alternatingly with orange and purple; the ellipses are colored with red. The pearls and rosettes are colored with white..
