Sub. Seekers - Small, but deadly, anti-submarine planes are these Short Seamew aircraft, pictured in formation. The first Coastal Command unit to be equipped with the new planes will be forming in January 1956. The Seamew, powered by an Armstrong Siddeley Mamba turbo-prop engine, carries a crew of two and can operate from make shift runways, such as golf courses and beaches, and all types of carrier ships, including converted merchanrmen. It is simple, light, robust and easy to handle and mainta
