Strip bobbin with a window between four circles and a heart between six diamonds, anonymous, c. 1800 - c. 1899 Strip of natural -colored bobbin, Swedish side. The strip is attached to a light blue cardboard with pins, with seven other strips. Above the strip is written on the cardboard "Laces from Dalecarlia. (Dalarna)". The repeating pattern is formed by a bundle of wires that has been worked through a mesh soil, a diamond -shaped tuneral. The threads alternately form a heart surrounded by six diamonds and a diamond surrounded by four circles. Along the underside of the strip there is always a trapezoidal motif between these successive motifs, with a small recess in the center. The hearts, diamonds and trapezia are made in linen battle with openwork edges and whose contours are therefore formed by the thick threads. A larger oval -shaped Maas is made between the meshes of the lacquers of the litter (around the windows). Top and bottom of the strip are straight and equipped with picots
