STENNIS SPACE CENTER, Mississippi (Oct. 26, 2022) - Students of the Basic Oceanography Accession Training Class at the Information Warfare Training Group in Gulfport, Mississippi, visit the commander, Naval Meteorology and Oceanography Command (CNMOC) for a tour to gain a greater understanding of CNMOC's mission capabilities and better prepare them for their initial tours as Oceanography officers. CNMOC directs and oversees more than 2,500 globally-distributed military and civilian personnel who collect, process and exploit environmental information to assist Fleet and Joint Commanders in all warfare areas to make better decisions faster than the adversary.
