The slightly forward position of the left thigh indicates that Taruru was represented in the traditional pose for men: striding with the left leg forward. He has one arm along the body and the other bent againt the chest with the hand holding a scribal palette. Remains of the inscription on the back pillar mention his numerous titles related to the institution of the royal treasure.
