Staff Sergeant Gerald E. Anderson from San Diego, California, assists a Vietnamese farmer in installing a windmill to pump water from the Song Cau Do River. The windmill will provide water to the rice paddies near Phong Bac. Anderson and Sergeant Enos S. Lambert Jr., both members of the 3rd Tank Battalion, 3rd Marine Division civic action team, constructed the pump using parts from unserviceable Mighty Mite vehicles.
