Soviet Ships Mass In English Channel -- Today's aerial view showing some of the Russian ships anchored in the mouth of the helford river, off Falmouth, Cornwall, May 20. It was reported this afternoon May 20 that there are now between 30 and 40 Russian ships in the English channel. Seventh of them are anchored off Falmouth, and others are making their way towards the helford river.
