Singing Dog - Mack singing at the piano at his home in Kendal, Westmorland. Mack, an 8 year-old tan and white cross bred terrier has taken up singing in his old age. "He started singing - and quite pleasantly too - about a year ago," said Mack's owner, 55year-old greengrocer Fred Wilson from Kendal, Westmorland. "He didn't seem to like my voice, and thought he could setter, I suppose. "Now if I stroke his throat and begin to sing, Mack throws back his head and warbles away sweetly." January 5, 1951.
