Royal Wedding Rehearsal: The Trish Coach which will convey the Princess and her father to the Abbey.Before 8 A.M. this morning, Nov. 2 (The first day of winter) many people had gathered in London to witness the rehearsal of the Royal Wedding procession from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Abbey. This photo shows the Richly-Gilded Irish state coach, drawn by two Windsor Greys, passing Westminster during the rehearsal (Note big Ben in background showing the time as 8.55 am). On Nov. 20 the Irish state coach will take the Princess and King George VI to the Abbey for the wedding. After the wedding, King George VI and Queen Elizabeth will travel back in the Irish State Coach, whilst the bride and bridegroom (Princess Elizabeth and Lt. Mountbatten) will use the glass coach.
