Royal Tour of South Africa: Visit to New BrightonA fine type of native in ceremonial attire who was among the native population who gave their Majesties a tremendous welcome at New Brighton.After making the acquaintance of their native subjects at a Port Elizabeth, the Royal family drove in procession through many miles of streets in New Brighton, predominantly occurred by families of the Xosa and other native Bantu races.These people turned out in many thousands to line the streets in front of their houses on the housing estates, and the Royal cars drove for more than an hour between the cheering and flag-waving lines, passing many parties of dancers in their ceremonial attire for the Royal occasion.
