Rex Reid, Adelaide born, cosmopolitan, is the most outstanding Australian man in ballet in his home country today. With the best of overseas experience behind him he returned home and so far he has found enough work to keep him busy.He did the choreography for John Antilles ballet suite, Corroboree, and is now planning another Australian ballet on the story of Lola Montez. He will call it Ballarat Incident. In this year's ballet season of Melbourne's National Theatre festival, he will dance four leading roles.Of middle height, genially conscious of being extremely good-looking, he has a slow, affable way of talking, a keen intelligence, a judicious mind.
