Commander Peter Markham Scott, son of Captain Scott the famous explorer who died in 1912 on his way back from the South Pole, received the M.B.E. and D.S.C. for his exploits with "the little ships", with his wife. Commander Scott is a well-known painter of bird-life. December 20, 1943.
