Queen Mary Sees The Princess Elizabeth Statuette -- When Queen Mary saw this silver-gilt equestrian statue the today (Monday) she said; There is my grand daughter she was at the Festival Exhibition of Modern British Silverwork in the Goldsmiths Hall, Foster Lane, London, to which she has loaned pieces of silverwork. The statuette, of Princess Elizabeth dressed as a Colonel of the Grenadier Guarde, was loaned from Buckingham Palace by the King and Queen. It was designed and made in 1948 by Doris Linder.
