Public Relations in Malaya: The Public Relations Department of Malaya has a big task in trying to inform the working man and woman in Malaya, who in the majority cannot yet read or write, about the plans and activities of the Government. In three years this department had made great headway. There are now forty-two Information Centres in the various towns and villages, and in 1947 the Mobile Public Address Units spoke to more than two million people.
