Pte. Tom Bain of Hobart, Tasmania moves into position with his bazooka during an exercise conducted by D Coy, 3 Bn, RAR. D Coy, supported by New Zealand 25 pounders, Battalion mortars and machine guns, held the banks of the Imjin River, after successfully repelling an 'enemy' attack against their position in Korea. The Company held off the 'enemy' long enough for the rest of the Battalion to man their Kansas line positions. Although this was one of the last exercise in which the Cry will participate prior to their departure for Australia, they turned on a really good show. January 10, 1955. (Photo by Brit Com PR Photo).
