Private Linsell Married Today -- Private Gordon Linsell, the Black Watch sentry who was sentenced to death for killing a German policemen, and was later reprieved, was married to Miss Sheila Johnson in the Register Office, America, Bucks., today (Thursday) Miss Johnson, 19, became engaged Private Linsell on his return form Germany on leave last July. His home is at Romford, Essex. At his court martial. Linsell pleaded that he was following sentry orders to shoot to kill anyone behaving suspiciously and refusing to obey an order to halt.
