The Princess and The Duke Will Stay Here -- The Royal lodge, near Nyeri, Kenya. The Royal lodge near Nyeri, Kenya, was the wedding present of Kenya to Princess Elizabeth and the first time on their way to Australia next February. The lodge itself is surrounded by gum tress but from a nearby Hotel built in the branches of a tall tree the Princess and the Duke will be able to enjoy what is probably the finish view of wild life in the world. Elephants and Rhinoceros appeciate the Salt Deposits in the District and come close beneath the hotel. The view also embraces Mount Kenya and the valley of the Sagana River. November 21, 1951.
